The topic of this thesis is Optimization of Treatment with the Compostable Waste in Olomouc and its Surroundings. The work briefly summarizes the legislation of the Waste managment in the Czech republic, the systems of sorting and collection of biodegradable waste and the possibilities of the waste management. The work focuses on the composting technology. It was analyzed the waste production, the extension of composting plants in the monitored area, including used technologies, accepted types of waste, quality of output products etc. Based on this analysis, the capacity utilization for compostable waste was evaluated, so as using of composts. There were proposed the steps which should contribute to meet the targets of the Waste Management Plans, especially reducing the amount of deposited biodegradable waste in landfills. |
