Popis: | Topic of this Master's Thesis is a design and a statical evalution of a load bearing structure of an observation tower in Beskydy mountains. Ground plan of this structure is in a shape of a nonagon with a non-roofed interior space. Height of the observation tower is 38,5 m, the shape of a ground plan doesn't change with a radius of a circumscribed circle of 12 m. The structure is designed from glued laminated timber, solid wood and steel. Columns bear horizontal beams and their stiffness is ensured by horizontal and inclined reinforcing beams. Main load bearing columns, upper and lower beams are designed from glued laminated timber GL24h. Upper beams and beams of a gallery are designed from glued laminated timber GL36h. Horizontal stiffener is designed from solid wood C24. Central column, inclined beams, stairway, water slide cantilevers, rod and central rod are designed from steel of a strength class S235. Cantilever for gallery is designed from steel of a strength class S355. Connections are designed from steel elements. Statical evaluation, technical report and construction drawing are included |
