Popis: 1 Abstract: This paper discusses new forms of art visual representation that is based on digital codes. The goal is to define the way in which new media shape the perception of the present world and what role art plays in this process. Work deals with the question, what is unique about how new media shape the illusion of reality, reach and influence the audience, represent space and time and how it changes the relationship between the artwork, the artist and the recipient. Whereas the traditional division into categories, which were used to assess the art, is outdated, there are new categories listed. Specific examples of new art forms that come with digital technology are illustrated. At the same time, there are critical concepts of major philosophers, Walter Benjamin, Vilem Flusser, Paul Virilio, Jean Baudrillard, presented as they are related to the issue of new media and their influence on changes in the way of human perception and the intervention of new technologies on human nature.
