The thesis deals with the group of the Yugoslav Cominformist (anti-Titoist) émigrés in Czechoslovakia. The basic line of the story is constituted by an analysis of their political activity. At the same time, this topic gaye an opportunity for the microhistorical study, which in general displays several aspects of the communist party dictatorship in Czechoslovakia. especially in its initial period. The events among Yugoslav émigrés as a Communist party cell are explored in detail. The following aspects are pursued: Methods and processes of the decision-making and controlling; the relations between the emigrant' s group and the central bodies of CP of Czechoslovakia; the behaviour and thinking patterns of the Party militants and functionaries; the relations between Czechoslovak communists and their foreign protégés. Analysing the situation when the emigranťs group was confronted with a different host environment, it was possible to portray the diversity of mentalities, stereotype s and political and cultural traditions of the two national communist movements.
