The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the chosen company in the years 2007-2011 and to assess the economic position of the enterprise within the region and its impact on the region. The literature review explains the concepts related to financial analysis. In the practical part of the diploma thesis is assessed the financial situation of the company using financial analysis and summary of their results along with recommendations to improve the financial situation of the company. Followed by the analysis of competition and comparison of selected financial indicators with the selected competitor. Subsequently, the assessment of the economic impact on the region. |
