Popis:	The diploma´s thesis is focussed on principles and characteristics of Powerline Communication. Powerline communication is a technology using powerlines for transmitting information. Its narrowband variant is developing in the field of remote data reading nowadays. There is a lot of solutions that need to be tested and simulated prior ro putting into practice. This thesis deals with preparing the OMNeT++ simulation enviroment for purposes of simulating the narrowband service PLC.
