My work deals with the development of methodologies for French horn. I present the original sources and analyze importatnt methodist like Domnich, Duvernoy, Fröhlich, Farkas and Kaucký. Moreocer, I mention successful personalities of pedagogy. I translated materials that have not been published in Czech language yet and thereby created an overview of already forgotten and for hornplayers important books. Than, chapters from selected schools are compared with basic attributes of hornplaying. I mapped the methods of conterporary teaching at prestigious music schools in France, Germany and Prague. I created a list of issued schools, etudes and methodologies for French Horn wich available in Europe. |
