Frantisek Gregora which is an outstanding contrabassist, composer and theorist. Frantisek Simandl which is one of the most famous professors at Konservatorium Wien or George Mraz which is worldwide double bass player. All they were born in South Czech, and my master diploma Thesis is dedicated to them. But this my work will not be only devoted to them, I will also talk about other famous musicians from South Czech as Jozef Houdek, and also about Petr Ries or Karel Sejna which are both members of Czech Philharmonic, because they were and they are important representatives of czech double bass school. |
