Popis: This diploma thesis tries to analyze aspects of mind mapping as an effective instrument for active and creative teaching of physics at the elementary school and high school. The opening part contains basic knowledge of learning theories, creativity, psychological aspects of mind mapping, difference between mind mapping and conceptual mapping and methodology of the mind mapping. Practical part of the thesis contains methodical advice for teaching physics using mind maps in different levels of teaching process. This thesis presents results of an experiment on success rate of elementary school pupils in solving quantitative tasks using mind mapping
