Popis:	Joint Applied Project In evaluating the implications of the Weapon System Acquisition Reform Act of 2009 (WSARA), we compare the position of prior acquisition acts and DoD acquisition policies to this new act. We examine the advantages and disadvantages of WSARA as it relates to major defense acquisition programs and acquisition programs in general. The rationale for changes to the policy is examined, and conclusions are drawn regarding the impact of this new policy on DoD acquisition programs.
