| Popis: | HPV is a major infectious cause of human cancers including cervical cancers of which 70% of all cases are caused by HPV types 16 and 18. Worldwide, about 500,000 cervical cancers are diagnosed annually with 250,000 deaths every year (Jenkins 2008). Consequently, the field of HPV research has witnessed many important recent advances as in the fields of epidemiology, diagnosis and prevention. |
