Popis: | ITC/USA 2015 Conference Proceedings / The Fifty-First Annual International Telemetering Conference and Technical Exhibition / October 26-29, 2015 / Bally's Hotel & Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV An application has been developed to remotely control a vehicle and display telemetry returned by the vehicle through a graphical user interface. The vehicle will compete in the University Rover Challenge hosted by the Mars Society. The software is responsible for asynchronously communicating to the remote system with a custom protocol over a wireless TCP/IP connection, handling user input from a team of human controllers, and processing data received from the rover and displaying it on the screen. A strong emphasis was put on keeping an object-oriented design throughout the project. It is built around the Model-View-ViewModel design pattern. The software was constructed using the C# and XAML languages with the Microsoft .NET framework. |
