The purpose of this thesis is to shed light on the child's perspective on playing with theirpreschool teachers. It seeks to answer the question of what the Child would prefer, while alsogetting a glimpse into the child’s playworld and perspectives on their educators. The focuswas to get the children’s views on the matter, by listening to their stories through interviewsand analyzing it with a narrative analysis. The study concluded that they saw playing withtheir educators as second tier to playing with their peers, how it was a subject the childrenhad to be actively asked about, and the important role of understanding the children's playand their peer cultures. |
