Ethical Leadership, Team Performance and Employee Voice-A Multilevel Mediation Model of Team Relationship Conflict

Popis: | 107 This research test a cross-level model of the relations by between ethical leadership, relationship conflict in team and individual, team performance, employee trust and voice via multilevel analysis to encourage team leader of ethical leadership to promotes team and individual-level supervisor ethical behavior. Results are based on a sample of 537 employees from 73 teams by Taiwan small and medium-sized enterprise. Research show the ethical leadership was positively related to follower’s trust & voice at individual as well as team level of analysis and to objective team performance, the ethical leadership has negative correlation to team relationship conflict. The relation between individual perceptions of supervisors' ethical leadership and employee voice was mediated by trust in the individual. Yet, relationship conflict in the team did not mediate between the ethical leadership with team perceptions of performance and individual of trust. Theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed. |
