A Study on the Information Graphic Design of Instructions for Long-term Home Care

| Popis: | 107 In modern society, due to the development of medicine, the average life expectancy of becomes longer, and the phenomenon of "population aging" appears, and the demand for long-term care of the elderly has increased. Due to the problem of one-child and aging in mainland China, care for the elderly has become an important issue in the future. At present, there are many home caregivers in mainland China, but caregivers have no medical care background, lack of nursing skills training, and no instructions can learn from the relevant information. Based on the key activities of long-term care, this study focuses on the content accuracy and efficiency of information graphics, in order to help the caregivers to carry out daily care. The research is divided into three parts. The first part is based on literature collection and expert focus interviews to understand the user's needs and determine the correctness of information. The second part through expert focus interviews to modify the research sample and through semi-structured interviews with caregivers at home to collect feedback, then revised the information graphic design. The third part used the online questionnaire to assess the user's understanding of the content and learning effectiveness of visual reception, and finally summarized the formal design flow and design points. The research results are as follows: 1. The key items are bathing, dressing and undressing, shifting, toileting, and long-term home care projects can be divided into autonomous care and home-based care for the disabled elderly; 2. The design process is mainly divided into eight parts；3. The results show that after the evaluation, most users think that it is easy to understand and graphic design and can help them to learn independently and the utility degree is better. |
