Preference of Style of Interior Design from Different Consumer Groups

Popis: | 107 With the rapid economic development in Taiwan, the improvement of knowledge and living standards, the quality requirements of the Chinese people not only end in the basic needs of living, but also the requirements of the design style and personal characteristics of the home. The main purpose of this study is to explore different Consumer groups on style preferences for interior design, identify individual differences in design style preferences, and provide design workers and users with planning references during interior design, allowing designers to implement customization and customer satisfaction. The degree also allows users to refer to the research content and express their ideas more specifically. The design style of this research is based on the well-known interion design, decoration design community platform and publishing company. The data is collected through online questionnaires and field questionnaires. This study uses questionnaires to collect data and conducts research in northern areas. Sampling, respondents are asked to provide the design style pictures and captions provided by the questionnaire. The online survey targets are general owner users with spending power or ordinary people with autonomy. In order to understand the interior design style and the influencing factors of different consumer groups, enumerate ten kinds of representative design style pictures and text descriptions for investigation and analysis, and explore different subjects' preferences for various interior design styles according to different backgrounds of space consumers. Depending on the level of preference, it is easier to select the right designer to achieve a satisfactory home style. Among the research results, 150 questionnaires were distributed and 103 questionnaires were collected, of which 99 were valid questionnaires, and the effective questionnaire ratio was 96.1%. The methods of data analysis include: descriptive statistics, factor analysis, T-test, and single-factor variation analysis. The results of the study have the following conclusions: The results show that consumers generally prefer the four living styles of "Modern minimalist style", "Nordic style", "Country style", and "Mediterranean style"; on the other hand, consumers generally do not prefer the interior design style of "Zen Style". In addition, there is a clear disagreement between male and female consumers on the preferences of the two modern interior styles, "Modern minimalist style" and "Nordic style". Among them, men are more likely to prefer "Modern minimalist style" than women. The difference in age and style preferences can be observed in Table 4.18. The design styles of 20-29 and 30-39 years old are biased towards "luxury style" and "Mediterranean style".
