| Popis: | 107 This study starts from a video work which made by a Taiwanese artist Yu-hsien SU. It is a tribute and interpretation by visualizing HUANG Hua-Cheng’s theater play The Prophet in 1960’s. By videolize the play Prophet and practicing creator HUANG’s meaning of “ anti-play”, SU aims to express the need of contemporary society, as if he intends to obtain the unique period of time of theatre in“Theater” magazine in the 60's.For the purpose, this thesis starts from the research of the development of Modernism in Taiwan, which located the anchor point of art magazine Theatre. By comparing the creating methods and ideas during HUANG’s time and SU’s art works along with his exploration of art form, which extracted from his ideas of “ Frustration ”、“Lack”, and the video-installation work Hua-Shan-Qiang, the intertextuality between each are possibly linked. Through the intertextuality, it is considering a response to the aphasia syndrome in the 60’s in Prophet and Plaster Gong. A certain positive recognition to the value of “Failure”. It is considering the oppressed people’s strategy to fight back or runaway as well. |
