| Popis: | 107 The present study examined the role of the Smartphone use negative outcome expectancy and depression in the pathways of the relationship between Smartphone use positive outcome expectancy and smartphone addiction among college adolescents. Data were gathered from one thousand, two hundred and twelve freshmen by the online survey. The moderated mediation analyses showed that depression moderated the association of positive outcome expectancy with negative outcome expectancy as well as the relationship linking negative outcome expectancy to smartphone addiction, such that the mediated effect strengthened under high depression than under low depression. The present study illuminates how the interaction between Smartphone use outcome expectancy and depression may make an impact on the development of Smartphone addiction among college students. |
