Discussion on the Use Behavior of Motorcycle Owners - A Case Study in the Taiwan Area

| Popis: | 107 Due to the small area of Taiwan's land and the over-concentrated population, the use of motorcycles has become very common. In addition, the density of motorcycles in Taiwan is the highest in Asia, with an average of 378 motorcycles per square kilometer. Although the number of fuel motorcycles has decreased since 2015, the safety of road traffic, air pollution, noise and environmental problems are still serious. In this study, we use the chi-square test and decision tree analysis to analyze the questionnaire data of the motorcycles use status survey provided by the government open data platform. The main purpose of this study is to understand the usage habits of motorcycles owner in Taiwan, and the factors of them for choosing to take public transportation. The research results can be used as a reference for the government to improve transportation policies. |
