The results are the following: apparel companies are conscious that their supply chains are causing environmental impacts, even if this awareness is in reality biased. Their impacts are causing pollution, emissions, released, waste, destruction, … Companies are responding to these impacts by implementing measures and by globally incorporated sustainability in their strategies and goals. These measures being mainly about daily life acts, use of natural or organic raw material, local supply chain, transport solutions, waste management, … But, some weaknesses are identified, no real evolutions and re-design are archived, and all the adopted measures are not adapted to the identified impacts. Regarding these issues, apparels companies need to identify the right impacts, implemented corresponding measures and evaluate the results via Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
