Popis: | 107 Chiang- Hua Wang was a famous Xiqu Artist. People also called himKuei- Ching Wang, Jr. because he learned the trade of “Wusheng” fromhis father, Kuei- Ching Wang. Kuei- Ching Wang, Jr. also learned the role“Laosheng”. He performed in many Xiqu, such as “Shui Lien Tung”, “NaoLung Kung”, “Nao Tien Kung”, “Chieh Shan”, “Chin Sha Tan”, “Lien HuanTao”, “Szu Ping Shan”, “Ya Kuan Lou”, “Shuang Chiang Lu Wen Lung”,“Chan Tung Wu”, and “Tsao Mai Cheng”, and some of the most famousones such as “Ta Yen Sung”, “Chui Han Hsin” and “Hsu Tse Pao Cheng”.This study begins with the discussion of “Ya Kuan Lou”, which Kuei-Ching Wang, Jr. performed in, to analyze the development from traditionto creation and summed up Kuei- Ching Wang, Jr.’s performing skills inthe end. This study focuses on the statements below: 1. The study analyses the opera, “Ya Kuan Lou”, which Kuei- Ching Wang,Jr. performed. 2. The study includes the comparisons with other artists: Seng- Lan Yehand Hui- Liang Li. They are also known for the role, Tsun-Hsi Li. 3. The researcher went to Shanghai, China to learn “Ya Kuan Lou” with Kuei- Ching Wang, Jr. in order to research the differences in styles. This paper analyses the features of “Wusheng” and discusses thedifferent factions.“Wusheng” is one of the important roles in ChineseXiqu. Kuei- Ching Wang, Jr. developed a unique method for “WuSheng”that made the characters in “Ya Kuan Lou” more vivid. Understanding therole of “Wusheng” is very important in the preservation and development of Chinese Opera (Xiqu). |
