Due to the change of modern environment, it is full of digitalization and mutual activity; therefore, child phonetic symbol learning and the teaching methods that teacher applies have become diversification. With a variety of tools in child learning process, there are a few things may get his or her focus. For instance, the children’s attention and learning ability will be distracted by games, 3C, and so forth. The expectation of this thesis is to combine animals’ shapes, colors, and visual aids in the iconography of child phonetic symbol learning. Children not only can explore the different meaning in phonetic symbol field, but can learn language through basic phonetic symbol. It makes children create more associations; moreover, with the connection of characters and iconography, it is more sufficient than words effect. As for the children, if there has animal icons to assist their recognition, learning phonetic symbol would be much more interesting and it might enhance children’s learning interest. Furthermore, it not only can raise children’s concentration to create new things, but can advance their ability in recognition. As a result, the researcher uses observation as research method, by applying different animal characters, a variety of colors, shapes and actions in child learning, children can straightly feel the characteristic of each animal. Through the assistance of iconography, children in recognition and memorization will be much easy and interesting. In the result of this thesis, by conducting the way of visual guidance, it not only raises children’s attention and enlightenment in phonetic symbol, but makes children learn something by observation and interaction simultaneously. Last but not the least, the children can use the interesting phonetic symbols to create the possibilities of shaping.
