A Study on Relationships Among Tourists' Travel Motivation, Destination Image, Travel Experience and Behavioral Intentions- A Case Study of Doulan

| Popis: | 106 Dulan is an aboriginal tribe on the East Coast of Taiwan and it has become a famous attractions. It’s an important topic to promote the visitors to re-visit by letting all visitors get a deeper experience of authentic local culture. Therefore, the purpose of this study aimed to understand the relationship among travel motivation, destination Image, tourism experience, and behavioral intentions based on the visitors of Doulan. The research data is collected via questionnaire survey method. 210 valid questionnaires from tourists in Doulan had been received by using the purposive sampling method. The questionnaires are analyzed by SPSS and SmartPLS 2.0.M3, and structural equation model analysis (Structural Equation Modeling; SEM). The results are illustrated as follows: 1. There was a significant positive correlation between travel motivation and destination Image; 2. There was a significant positive correlation between travel motivation and tourism experience; 3. There was a significant positive correlation between destination image and tourism experience; 4. There was a significant positive correlation between destination image and behavioral intentions; 5. There was a significant positive correlation between tourism experience and behavioral intentions. Expected the conclusion of this study was used to bring out the suggestion for the future development to promote the tourism industry of Doulan. |
