This study aimed to explore the effects of teachers’ instructional scaffolding strategies on enhance students’ sensory and perspectives on narrative writing. Specifically, this study focused on improve students’ narrative writing by first expanding students’ sensation and then providing them with the structure and organization of narrative writing in the process of action research. In order to accomplish the purpose of the study, the researcher designed two-terms teaching programs based on the use in learning psychological concepts of sensation, perception and cognition. The participants were 26 sixth-grades in the researcher's class. During the 30 sections of writing courses, the researcher has collected qualitative and quantitative data. The results of the study are as follows: 1. In the action circle, the instructional scaffolding strategies had different effects on students’ narrative writing. 2. The use of multi-sensory activities leads six-grader student to expand aspects of their narrative descripton and then improves their writing performance. 3. The multi-sensory activities and model essays help students to combine writing materials and article structure.
