| Popis: | 107 This study examines the relationship between internationalization and performance in companies by using panel data on 493 publicly listed Taiwanese firms over the period of 2007 to 2017. I measure the degree of internationalization in terms of depth and breadth, and discusses their impact on business performance. The results measured of depth show that the increase in the foreign assets as a percentage of total assets and foreign sales as a percentage of total sales has positively contributed to business performance. The results measured of breadth show that the increase in country diversification ratio has positively contributed to business performance. I also find that the depth of internationalization can play a protective role during financial crisis. |
