Risk Assessment of Ultralight Vehicles in Taiwan–A Case Study of Fixed-wing Vehicle

Popis: | 107 Nowadays, the popularity of air sport is raising by people desire for in flying. Therefore, the following problems of aviation safety is an important topic which shell be concerned. According to the report from Aviation Safety Council, 2006, in Taiwan, the needed management of Ultralight Vehicles could be firstly facing on. The topic of the study is related to Ultralight fixed-wing Vehicles by using questionnaire to classified and assess the risk factors. To analyze the reports by using Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP, there are three main aspects of risk factors with the following 12 evaluation criterions. Furthermore, the severities of risk was resulted by using Expert Choice to do rating. In accordance with the result, the main risk factors of ultralight fixed-wing vehicles is 「human factors」and other influential aspects are 「mechanical factors」 and 「environment factors」. Besides that the underlying evaluation criterions are 「mistakes of operative skills」 and 「the problems of airframe」 and 「defective runway」. Otherwise, the weights analysis of overall aspects accounting by AHP shown five common factors which lead to high accident rate are 「mistakes of operative skills」、「Proficiency of flight program」、「the problems of airframe」、「the failure of engine」and 「defective runway」. |
