According to the statistics from the National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior, a total of 24 firefighters lost their lives on fire rescue service in the past 6 years (2013-2018). Therefore, the most urgent issue to reduce the firefighter fatalities is to effectively improve the safety of fire operations. In order to verify current fire scenar-io safety management, and evaluate the effectiveness of current disaster prevention technology, current study analyzes the major firefighters' dereliction associated with the root causes of duty cases for the purpose to design rescue safety scenarios through actual fire drill training. Research outcomes indicate that the reasons why firefighters fail to perform fire rescue tasks properly are due to human factors and multiple roles as security control personnel and firefighters. RIT recommends that the security con-trol personnel should also be professionally trained firefighters because they are well-trained personnel with accurate sense of fire direction orientation. It is recom-mended, following the principle of "seeking people by line", that disaster prevention technology can be verified in various types of fire scenarios, and promoted and uti-lized in conjunction with the actual fire drill trainings after reviewing the practicality of the project.
