The studies of Tibetan Buddhism are still few both domestically and abroad, let alone Nyingmapa’s Dzogchen teachings, and rarely focus on interpreting the teachings in modern view but focus on the comparison with Zen, document analysis, or introduction of the Teachings. Apart from culture, religious activities, tradition, history and rituals, the doctrine and experience are the heart of religion. The essence of Dzogchen teachings is just the perfect combination of its doctrine and actions. However, how can modern people understand these ancient teachings? How can we prove that these teachings can connect with modern people’s experience through textual analysis? Those questions above are this study’s main concern. The topic of this study is to examine the spiritual-practice means of Nyingmapa’ s Dzogchen teachings with a modern view, tries to examine the special view points and ways of liberations towards kleshas in Dzogchen, to describe how Dzogchen teachings can be applied practically in realistic station, and to provide modern people knowledge of a way to liberate kleshas in addition to popular ways such as counseling, psychology, psychotherapy, and new-age spiritual healing. In general, this study will explore the Dzogchen viewpoints and ways of liberation, the view, practice and action that needed, and how one can apply the teachings in khlesha’ s arising moment. The study focuses on explaining and interpreting the view, the practice, and the action mainly based on the text: “The Three Words that Strike the Vital Point” by Patrul Rinpoche.
