The first article of the Fire Protection Law clearly stipulates that fire prevention, rescue disasters and emergency ambulances are the three major tasks of modern firefighters required to maintain public safety and ensure that peoples lives and property. Rescuing disasters is the unshirkable duty of firefighters. Fire protection work is highly valued and closely related to the safety of peoples lives and property. With the progress of the times and the rapid development of society, high-tech factories, high-rise buildings, and composite buildings are constantly being built. Even thought firefighters disaster rescue skills, concepts and the fire protection equipment functions are increasingly refined. Firefighters cannot be guaranteed to avoid injurie or perish in the line of duty. The effectiveness of firefighting suits including thermal protection, comfort, flexibility, coating, and puncture resistance. The purpose of this study is mainly focus on investigation of thermal protection performance and take the European firefighting suits used by the firefighters in the Yunlin County Fire Department as an example. Hoping that by this research, firefighters will have more safety concepts during disaster relief. Through training and equipment replacement, to improve and provide more comprehensive protective equipment for firefighters, reducing the chance of injurie or perish in the line of duty.
