Popis: | 107 Since the advent of human civilization, varieties of old constructions including old factories, old clinics and old houses were idled due to different reasons but all end up in the same status, namely, being left empty. However, the constructions themselves, being still very useful and highly valuable in historical and cultural aspects, can be put into use again and acquire new social value. Since the quality of life improves, people put more and more attention to real comfort, feelings and other aspects beside mere subsistence, and the same is true with interior design. For example, the users tend to care more about the coziness inside their space and whether it can serve their needs well. Thus the question of emotional design arises. Therefore, this study focuses on the renovation of interior space and explores how to integrate the three layers of emotional design into the entire designing process in order make the space more useful in human hands. The study employed literature review method, interview method and case study method to analyze and do case study on the structural history, old constructions and idle spaces in Taipei and Hualien city, trying to find out more appropriate and artistic solutions to interior design and putting them into practice. The Artopia Architecture Space of National Dong Hwa University helped with simulating modeling renovation. Combining structure’s style with the theory of emotional design to create a more efficient and useful interior space and bestow new social value on the structure. |
