In this study, the unsaturation infinite slope failure mode of planting root system effect was developed,Simulated using main dry and main wet curves,Exploring the effect of soil hysteresis on the simulation of infinite slope failure caused by rainfall,Including the impact of the infinite slope on the occurrence of damage and destruction,And the impact of the threshold of damage to the infinite slope. The results show,Compared to the main wet curve,The main dry curve has a smaller rainfall threshold and a lower rainfall delay threshold, Therefore, it is more likely that slope damage will occur. In addition, Because the main dry curve has a larger hydraulic conductivity than the main wet curve,Therefore, the main dry curve has a faster groundwater transmission speed,Therefore, slope collapse will occur earlier than the main wet curve. If the effect of soil hysteresis is not considered, It may be wrong to estimate the occurrence of damage and destruction of the infinite slope .
