This study purposed to explore the relationship of self-concept, peer relationship and school life adjustment of high school students. The participants in this study were 500 students in Pingtung County. The instruments which were used in the study included Scale of Self-concept, Scale of Peer relationship, and Scale of School life adjustment. The collected data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation and Multiple Stepwise Regression. Results revealed as following: 1. The self-concept, peer relationship and school life adjustment of high school students tend upwards. 2. Gender difference in high school would make a significant difference on “physiological self” and “academic performance” under the category of self-concept. The difference on male could be more than female. High school students under different types of family would make a significant difference on “family self”. The difference on typical family would be more then on atypical family. But, there is no significant difference between the high school students of different grades in different aspects. 3. The difference on “friendship” and “participation” and “peer relationship” would vary from high school students in different gender under the category of peer relationship. The difference on male could be more than female. Other variables of high school students made no significant difference. 4. Gender difference in high school would make a significant difference on “peer relationship” and “learning adjustment” and “norm adjustment” and “school life adjustment” under the category of school life adjustment. The difference on male could be more than female. High school students of different grades would make a significant difference on “self acceptance” and “learning adjustment” and “norm learning” and “school life adjustment” under the category of school life adjustment. The difference on first grade could be more than third grade. But, there is no significant difference between the high school students under different types of family in different aspects. 5. The relationships among the self-concept, peer relationship and school life adjustment was significant. 6. The self-concept, peer relationship of high school students would predict the school adaptability effectually. The Predictive value could be 48.9%.
