This case study is a qualitative research with one on one semi-structured interview to the parents with a child has Rett Syndrome. This interview probes into the impact of family life quality of children with Rett Syndrome when adapting to the swim-sport. The research conclusions are: Originally, the parents did not expect anything from their child. But after having the training of swim-sport, they found the continued improvements of their child on every aspects. Therefore, they want their child to keep on having swim training and look forward the training would better the child herself. Originally, the parents resisted to the swim-sport but now they are embracing the changes of the child and willing to try more things that child did not have the chance to do before. This would give more development space to the child herself. After having swimming training, not only the family life quality improves, but also the following aspects are improved: leisure & recreation, sleep quality, obtain employment, education and health care.
