The point vortex in the plane forms a dynamic system. A point vortex is in stationary configurations if and only if it is one of these types of motion: equilibrium, rigidly translating, relative equilibrium, or collapse. Stationary means that the shape of the arrangement of points in the plane is preserved by the motion. In this thesis, we focus on finding the rigidly translating configurations of four-point vortex for some parameters. A point vortex is said to be rigidly translating if the vortex moves with common velocity V. The configurations which are in rigidly translating are counted using methods of polynomial, such as psuodo remainder, resultant, and subresultant.
