The mobile phone industry in mainland China started later than other mobile phone manufacturers, and it started from OEM. For a period of time, it was mainly based on bandit phones, and its own brands could not compete with the world''s major brands. However, after entering the smart phone era, the technology of the mobile phone industry began to make significant progress, and its own brand began to compete with the world''s big manufacturers on the global stage. Based on this, the research, through the secondary analysis method and SWOT analysis, hopes to understand the development of China''s mobile phone industry and its competition strategy, and hopes to understand its development problems and dilemmas. After the collation of relevant literature and materials, we found that the mobile phone industry in mainland China started from the foundry. It was not until 3G that mainland China began to have its own brand that could be accepted by the market, and gradually became competitive with the world''s big manufacturers. The analysis of major mobile phone manufacturers in mainland China found that they have their own competitive strategies and characteristics, and thus can be competitive in the market; but at the same time, they also found that these advantages have become factors that hinder the further development and competition of enterprises. Therefore, for the mobile phone industry in mainland China, we must develop a more flexible and transparent competitive strategy, shape the overall image of mobile phones in mainland China, and build loyal customers of individual brands so that we can continue to survive in the market and face the future. The challenges brought about by 5G system innovation.
