Study on knowledge,attitude,behavior and self-efficacy of medicine and health care in middle-aged and elderly people

Popis: | 107 Taiwan has entered an aging society,the elderly population over 65 years old has exceeded the total population by 14% in 2018.With aging,the physiological function has degeneration,the risk of chronic disease or multiple diseases was increased.In recent years,the middle-aged and elderly people using health foods to delay aging or maintain physiological functions has also increased.Therefore, it is especially important for middle-aged and elderly people to have good knowledge and behaviors such as disease treatment and health prevention and health care. This study collected data by questionnaire to explore the knowledge, attitude, behavior and self-efficacy of middle-aged and elderly people,and to explore the Medication Safety among middle-aged and elderly people by narrative statistical analysis, correlation and regression analysis. The survey found that nearly 60% of middle-aged and elderly people use chronic disease drugs, and 60% of middle-aged and elderly people feel their health status was good recently.However, nearly 80% of middle-aged people feel their bodies are still Uncomfortable recently.In the survey of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors, the not take chronic disease drug groups was better to the take chronic disease drug groups.In the analysis of self-efficacy and drug compliance,the not take chronic disease drug groups was still better. The results of this study found that middle-aged and elderly people who take chronic diseases drugs had poorer Medication Safety and compliance.Therefore, in the future, we should strengthen the education of medication safety of middle-aged and elderly people with chronic diseases,and promote the participation of middle-aged and elderly people in health or medication safety of activities, in order to achieve the purpose of medication safety. |
