The Study of Social Network and Residential Satisfaction on Mix-Swelling Public Housing -A case study of Taipei Xinglong Public Housing

| Popis: | 107 To increase supply of public housing, the Taipei City Government is enhancing the reconstruction of old affordable houses into public houses. Although the tenants of affordable houses can move to the new public houses after the reconstruction, the original mutual aid network in the affordable housing has changed due to mixed dwelling in the new public housing. This research studies on the reconstruction case from Ankang affordable housing to Xinlong public housing. This study focuses on the situation of the public housing mixed-dwelling with the original households and other identities of Ankang tenants, and the causes that may affect the residential satisfaction. The empirical results show that the most important factor for tenants to enjoy living in a prosperous house is cheap rent. However, the betweenness centrality and structural hole degree of the network side have a negative impact on residential satisfaction. The analysis shows that the more information flows in the public housing and the more important position of the information intermediary is in, the lower of living satisfaction is reflected. |
