A Case Study of Small Family Business Actions in United Nations Sustainable Development Goals -An Example of Traditional Manufacture Industry in Taiwan

Popis: | 107 In 2015, under the "2030 Sustainable Development Goals" (SDGs) issued by the United Nations, some Taiwanese companies successively proposed sustainable development for the goals and guidelines of SDGs, but how the management and management characteristics of a large proportion of family businesses and small and medium-sized traditional manufacturing industries in Taiwan related to the sustainable development goals and guidelines of the United Nations. Under the United Nations "2030 Sustainable Development Goals", the opportunities and directions of small and medium-sized family enterprises in Taiwan's traditional industries. This study firstly studied and analyzed 17 projects and 169 indicators of the United Nations "2030 Sustainable Development Goals", and then selected three small and medium-sized family enterprises in traditional manufacturing to conduct interviews and case studies to understand business concepts and management methods. With the goal of sustainable development, and then analyzing the data, it will be compared with the 17 items of the United Nations "2030 Sustainable Development Goals" and 169 indicators. After the analysis, it is found that the company has almost the “2030 sustainable development Goals” corresponding to the UN in terms of internal governance. For example, the concerned and care of employees, the improvement of product materials to make use of environmentally friendly materials, or seeking recycling methods and pipelines to reduce damage to the environment and achieve production and consumption cycles in further. And each position in the company will not be different for men and women. However, there is almost no other work in external governance. The main point is that external governance such as ending poverty, ending hunger, land ecology, and sea ecology are all socially responsibilities that cost a lot of money, so the willingness is nott very high. |
