To clarify the responsibility of food spoilage, the general cold chain logistics would install the terminal on the vehicle to record the temperature, speed, time, and route of the transport. Therefore, this study is mainly commissioned by the manufacturer to develop a customized monitoring system for cold chain logistics vehicles. The terminals of cold chain logistics vehicles are based on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ control boards, which are connected to the temperature sensors, GPS receivers, and 4G modules to collect and record the sensing and positioning data. Besides, in the system, the Python is the main compilation language through Python multi-core compilation features. And, we adopt the Multiprocessing mechanism to establish different subsystems to the calculate latitude and longitude, address, speed, dwell time, vehicle flameout, and freezing and refrigerating temperatures. Then, the data is transmitted to the back-end database via the 4G module. Furthermore, users can monitor the conditions of cold chain logistics vehicles at any time by using the responsive website. Through the actual installation test, we can get the real-time freezing and refrigerating temperatures, current situations, and positions of logistics vehicles. When the food is spoiled, all the information of a the day can be printed out to the entrusted food merchants and logistics providers to facilitate their clarifications
