Popis: | 107 The study was based on 76 elementary school fifth-grade students in Yangmei District of Taoyuan City. Using pencil-paper tests and individual interviews to explore students’ performance on identifying the cube side length relationship. The questions of pencil-paper tests were dsign to explore three different types of questions: projection graph, the length of side, and plane figures. The test results were as follows: (1) In projection graph tests, students performe better in the parallel projection than other projection graph questions. (2) Students have better performance on questions of the same visual cognition side length with consistent answer than the performance on questions with the visual cognition side length with inconsistent answer. Doing those questions with the same visual cognition side length with consistent answer, students did well in the questions which the selceted side lengthes are prallel to each other. (3) There is no difference in students’ performance in the view graph and perspective graph representation. Individual interviews mainly discuss whether the rotation factor affects the students’ judgement about cube side lengths. The study found that conceptual learning style studetns are not affcted by the cube rotation factos and can correctly interpret the equality relationship of any two sides of the cube, but there are more than 40 % stduents are visual learners or unstable learners who are susceptible to rotation factos when identifying side length relationship. |
