| Popis: | 106 The purpose of this study is to investigate the nexus between personality, job satisfaction, and job stress for pharmacists at local pharmacies in the northern Taiwan. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed and 171 observations are included in this empirical study. Main results of this paper include: 1) Job stress is significantly different between high-wage (70,000+ NTD/month) and low-wage (30,000 – 50,000 NTD/month) pharmacists. 2) Job satisfaction differs between pharmacists with various years of working experience. 3) Position: Type A personality has significant differences in the managerial pharmacists and other positions of pharmacists / there is a significantly difference in job stress between the primarily pharmacists and the ones in other positions. 4) Job stress has significant differences between the pharmacists with no plan and the ones who engage in advanced studies 5) Job satisfaction is significantly correlated with type A personality. 6) Job stress has mediating effect in the nexus between job satisfaction and type A personality. 7) Personality traits, job stress and job satisfaction have some significant differences between pharmacists with different background variables. |
