Popis: | 106 The rapid economic development of Taiwan, coupled with the development of medical technology, has prolonged the life expectancy of Taiwan, while at the same time this situation has brought about an accelerated aging of the population. According to the comparison of population estimates published by the National Development Committee, Taiwan has reached the aging society since 1993 and it will become an aging society in 2018 and become a super-aged society in 2025. Due to the rapid increase in population aging, the demand for long-term care of the elderly has also risen rapidly. Based on the long-term care market opportunities for the huge elderly people in the future, many enterprises have been attracted to join in and set up long-term care institutions. The elderly care industry has become a market-oriented new industry. Therefore, agencies in this industry need some innovation of management system, sound financial control and good adaption to the market trends, in order to become sustainable. This case study analyzes the key success factors of the agency and discusses the management and management models of the operation and management. The main conclusions of the study can be divided into the following four aspects: (1)The management aspect: Innovation and a clear business vision; staff team cooperation. (2)The financial aspect: good financial cost control, good occupancy rate, reducing lawsuit and training cost. (3)The resources aspect: resources sharing, positive governmental auditing, location and other environmental advantages. (4)The services aspect: good service, good equipment to attract more elderly to enroll. This study is to find out the key success factors for the operation of elderly care agencies by literature review, industry analysis, in-depth interviews. With this study, we can help the agency understand its own advantages and disadvantages of competition and further help the organization's future operating principles. The result of the study can also offer information for reference to others who are interested in this issue. |
