Popis: | 106 This study empirically investigates the relationships among emotional management, interpersonal relationship and happiness. Also, the study examines whether the trio of emotional management, interpersonal relationship and happiness will be significantly different between demographic variables. A questionnaire survey was conducted to fulfill this purpose using a sample of 398 effective questionnaires gathered from teachers of junior high schools at Tainan. The analyses of statistics such as independent-samples t test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data, with the software of PASW Statistics. The main results of this research are as follows. Emotional management and happiness differ from age as well as job tenure. There is significant difference in junior high school teachers’ interpersonal relationship between different job titles. Compared with teachers who are responsible for administrative work, homeroom teachers have lower average scores on interpersonal relationship. Overall, emotional management significantly improves interpersonal relationship and it is partially positively related to happiness, with emotional adjustment as the most influential factor on teachers’ perceived happiness. Moreover, the better interpersonal relationship, the more happiness. Finally, implications and future research suggestions are discussed.
