In this paper, 69kV SF6 gas insulated circuit breakers were analyzed by finite element analysis, and the modal and transient analysis were carried out to understand the stress distribution of the two resonance sine waves of 0.5G, and cost analysis. Finally, The L9 orthogonal array in Taguchi method is used to simulate the experiment. The 4 main control factors are the thickness of the gas tank, thickness of the CT gas tank, size of the support frame and height of the support frame were considered. And Taguchi experimental method of small property quality analysis method to find the most economical combination of 69kV SF6 gas insulated circuit breaker for the experimental goal.In this case study, the result from the calculation of S/N ration, response table and reaction diagram of the optimum parameter combination are the thickness of gas tank = 4.5mm, thickness of the CT gas tank = 3mm, size of the support frame = 125mmx125mm, height of the support frame = 1300m, and through the analysis of variance to understand the impact of each factor, the two most influential factors are the size of the support frame and the height of the support frame.The best combination of experimental results can reduce costs, improve economic efficiency, and the intensity also meet regulatory requirements.
