Indoor carbon dioxide is an one of indicator to determine the air quality, the concentration of CO2 exceeds 800ppm, it will make people feel uncomfortable. Therefore, this study design a CO2 adsorption membrane for reducing the CO2 concentration in the room. In this investigation, the membrane is made by blending polyallylamine(PAA) solution and four kinds of amines or alcohol, including polyvinyl alcohol(PVA), ethylenediamine(EDA), diethanolamine(DEA), n-butyldiethanolamine(BDEA). The next step, we prepared another membrane, which added Fluorescent Brightener 351 to this polymer mixture solution. Because the characteristic of adsorption and absorption of CO2, we coat the solution on surface of polyamide membrane. The characters of membrane were analyzed by FTIR and SEM. The results show that EDA/DEA/BDEA/PVA cross linked with PAA by hydrogen bonds. We change the proportion of EDA/DEA/BDEA/PVA with PAA in ordor to research the separation and selectivity of membranes with the research object of CO2 and N2 gas.In the experiment of CO2 adsorption, PAA + EDA + FB351 composite membrane, 200mbar has increase of CO2 is about 106.41 ppm. In the experiment of CO2 selectivity, the selectivity of PAA + EDA + FB351, 2.25 cmHg is 8.02. The results show that the polymer composite membrane with FB351 polymer solution as the surface layer and the polyamidoamine membrane as the support layer has better selectivity for carbon dioxide than without FB351 Better separation performance and gas passage rate.
