This is a research targeted at the “Environmental Education Teachers’ Professional Learning Community” in New Taipei City, and this is based on the teaching expercences and with the purpose of exploring the development stage of the community, understanding the main factors of members’ continuous involvement. Through the relevant literature and in-depth interviews, the research obtains the following conclusions: First, the community convener understands the harm from global weather-changing and hopes to promote the establishment of a case of community. Second, the members of the community have identity and the correspondant concept toward community. They can support each other, learn from each other, and continue to participate in community activities for the community's goal. Third, the convener of the community with good personality enhance the members to attach importance to the professional development of teachers so as to enhance the professional knowledge of teachers. Fourth, the convener of the community promotes inspiring the members to reflect on themselves and grow in order to make better decisions. The mode of operation of this community can be the reference for other communities and provide community development experience and related research results as a sharing platform in New Taipei City.
