| Popis: | 106 Scene recognition is a common computer vision problem with diverse applications in a variety of fields such as automated surveillance, object detection and recognition, human computer interaction, robot navigation, image retrieval and vehicle navigation. In this paper, we propose an improved orthogonal extended center-symmetric local binary pattern for scene recognition. We take a scene image to extract local texture features and then the classification is performed by using the multilayer perceptron. The experimental results on 8 scene categories dataset and 15 scene categories dataset show that the proposed approach is an effective method. |
