The Impact of Taiwan's Summer School on Country-of-Manufacture and Country-of-Design Images

| Popis: | 106 In the face of increasingly fierce international competition, attracting the future talents is the accumulation of important human capital in a country. It is already a trend to develop summer schools by attracting talent from different countries. In this study, summer school, human capital, country of origin of de-sign, and country of origin of production were used to establish the research model. This research discusses the impact of summer school implementation on human capital.Do human capital will influence the country-of- design and country-of- manufacture images? Survey questionnaire is taken and the results is analyzed by Partial Least Squares (PLS) and SPSS. The Vietnamese students participating in the summer school were the sampling targets. A total of 23 questionnaires were distributed and 23 valid samples were recovered. A questionnaire was sent out before participating in the summer school,and also sent out after the event. The empirical findings show that through participation in summer schools, through mutual communication and learning, there is an effect of improving the image of the country of design and the country of manufacture. |
