Popis: | 106 BIM (Building Information Modeling) is abundant today. Commonly used in various stages of building life cycle to assist designers and engineers, BIM also contributes to cost estimation and processing of all phases of the project to reduce design conflicts. In building life cycle, the knowledge background of the participating experts in each stage is diverse. Inconsistency of terminology often causes difficult situation for data exchange. This study implements tools and user interfaces to assist designers to maintain consistency with a standardized terminology for naming spaces in building information modeling with Revit. This study adopts international standard for coding specifications of functional spaces, such as the US standard OmniClass (OmniClass Construction Classification System, OCCS), the British standard Uniclass, and the GSA (General Services Administration). This thesis proposes the required items and classification that functional space naming should include for data exchange. The naming should comply with the building usage, space classification in Taiwanese building code, as well as the international coding standards for data exchange. This research implements a system to assist architects to input space through hierarchical search tree to select standardized terms for functional spaces. For spaces that require specific building codes, such as hospital wards and operation rooms, Autodesk official plug-in tool Model Checker and Revit schedule are used to examine specific regulations concerning the functional space. The system implemented in this study can effectively assist designers to maintain terminology consistency in naming function spaces, and contribute to the standardization of information format and reducing errors in data exchange. |
