A Study of the importance of objective in Cognitive-development to the Parents with Developmental Delay Children and Preschool Educators in Changhua County

Popis: | 106 The researcher found that the preschool educators and the parents had different thoughts about learning objectives of the Individualized Education Program for developmental delay children during her tour counseling experience.The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of learning objectives in cognitive-development, to explore the differences among their backgrounds, and to discuss the different points of view between parents and preschool educators. In this study,”Focus Ability”、”Memory Ability”、”Logical Thinking Ability” plus ”the importance of objective in cognitive-development total score”as research tool, with the parents of developmental delay children and preschool educators in Changhua County as study subjects. And were issued 400 questionnaires in total.A total of 391 questionnaires were recovered,which means effective sample recovery rate of 98%. The statistic analysis was carried out by the independent t-test、the one-way ANOVA and the paired Sample t-test. The outcomes of this study are as follows: 1.The parents with developmental delay childre approve the importance of objective in cognitive-development of the degree above the average. 2.The preschool educators with developmental delay children identity the importance of objective in cognitive-development of the degree above the average. 3.The importance of objective in cognitive-development, variable to the parents of developmental delay children in different social background, except the ”Logical Thinking Ability” in ”the child had taken cognitive-development treatment”, 1 times a week to reach the significant difference.The other variable remaining nonsignificant in terms of ”Focus Ability”、”Memory Ability”. 4.The importance of objective in cognitive-development, variable to the parents of developmental delay children in different social background, except ”Memory Ability”, the children study in private kindergartens, the child had taken cognitive-development treatment 1 times a week to reach the significant difference. The other variable remaining nonsignificant in terms of ”Focus Ability”、”Logical Thinking Ability”. 5.The importance of objective in cognitive-development to the parents with developmental delay children and preschool educators In the ”Focus Ability”、”Memory Ability”、”Logical Thinking Ability” and ”The importance of objective in cognitive-development total score”.The importance of objective in cognitive-development total scale have been the consistent view on both sides. |
